CONNECT THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL AND CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? CLEAR DTC . TURN OFF & ON IGNITION & CHECK FOR DTC’s ( at l east 2 to 3 times) IS DTC STILL PRESENT ? TURN OFF IGNTION. AND REPLACE DRIVER FIS SENSOR WITH A NEW ONE . YES NO NO YES NO TURN OFF & ON IGNITION . CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? NO TURN ON IGNITION . CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK FOR DTC’s. STOP RE - CONNECT THE AIRBAG ECU, W/H & DRIVER FIS MODULE IN VEHICLE 1. TURN OFF IGNITION. 2. REPLACE THE AIRBAG ECU WITH A NEW ONE. YES IS DTC STILL PRESENT? YES START B 1 0 0 E 96 :: Frontal Impact Driver Sensor component internal failure .
