Author: ERC Page: 80 of 202 B1F3E-71:- Temperature Door Control Motor - Actuator stuck; ISO Code B1F3E-71 Customer Symptom No air temperature control (manual or automatic) Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The motor is blocked and its motion toward either end is not possible Lamp Status (If Any) Motor shall be disabled Fault Detection Condition Temperature Door Control Motor – Actuator Stuck Normal Operating Condition Air Temperature Drive Motor is moving according to the input Probable Trouble Area Motor is stuck because of a mechanical block or obstruction in movement of flap Healing Condition Perform ignition ON/OFF for 11 Cycles for Auto Calibration Component Details: The actuator controls the position of the temperature blend door based on the voltage signal from the FATC module. Potentiometer, inside the actuator, sends a feedback signal to the controller and controller cuts off the voltage signal coming from the controller when the required door position is achieved. Preliminary Checks: Switch On the IGN & perform the following check. 1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code 2) If the fault code exists, refer the Trouble Shooting.
