Author: ERC Page: 49 of 202 B1F2C-13:- Fresh Air/RECIRC Motor Drive Line- Circuit Open: ISO Code B1F2C- 13 Customer Symptom No air selection control (manual or automatic) Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Motor movement is not possible Lamp Status (If Any) Motor To be Disabled Fault Detection Condition Fresh/RECIRC Door Control Motor Drive Line - Circuit Open Normal Operating Condition With the Fresh/RECIRC motor drive line connected to the harness and with Ignition ON, check the voltage between blue connector pin no 7 & ground or 23 & ground. The voltage range should be in between 0 to 14 V Probable Trouble Area Either of the two Motor drive lines is open circuited Healing Condition If there is no continuity between the Air Inlet door Motor drive line & ECU connector then correct the wiring harness Component Details: The recirculation/fresh air selector door actuator motor controls the position of the door which allows fresh air or recirculation air, or a combination of the two, into the vehicle. The motor is mounted on the recirculation /fresh air duct. Preliminary Checks: Switch On the IGN & perform the following check. 1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code 2) Read ECU parameter value Target Position of Air-Inlet Door Flap and AI Door flap Position (Internal Value) for actual and target position of Actuator
