U0155 - 08:- Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module Overview: ISO Code U0155-08 Customer Symptom None Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ABS, EBD – Available Lamp Status (If Any) ABS – OFF, EBD – OFF Fault Detection Condition 1. IPC connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. CAN wire from IPC connector side are disconnected 3. IPC IGN & Battery fuse blown. 4. CAN_H, CAN_L or both lines of IPC are open circuit Normal Operating Condition IPC ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area 1. IPC connector / IPC fuse. 2. CAN lines of IPC ECU Healing Condition 1. IPC ECU is connected and no wiring harness issues from TCM side 2. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of IPC are connected properly Preliminary Check: 1. Check resistance in Diagnostic CAN pin no. 6 and 14. It should be 120 Ω. 2. Check for short conditions between CAN_H (pin no. 26)-CAN_L (pin no. 14), CAN_H (pin no. 26)-GND (pin no. 13), CAN_L (pin no. 14)-GND (pin no. 13), CAN_H (pin no. 26)-Vbatt (pin no. 1) and CAN_L (pin no. 14)-GND (pin no. 13). There should not be any short circuit conditions. 3. Check continuity between IPC CAN_H (pin no. 8) vehicle side connector to OBD connector CAN_H (pin no. 6) and CAN_L (pin no. 7) vehicle side connector to ODB connector (pin no.14) 4. Read IVN DTCs in ABS in IGN ON condition Note: After rectification please give Ignition latch to heal the DTC.
