Overview: DTC Description (User Friendly) Particulate Filter Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance: Fault check for the pressure sensor plausibility. ECU Pin Number K042, K016, K015 Customer Symptom MIL OFF, CEL OFF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) - Lamp Status (If Any) - Fault Detection Condition (Root cause) The Cold Condition is recognized, and either the adapted raw pressure value is above the tolerance limit 18 hPa or the absolute difference between the upstream pressure and environmental pressure is greater than the tolerance limit 40 hPa with no error in environmental pressure. Normal Operating Condition Proper wire harness between particulate filter differential pressure sensor. Probable Trouble Area Wire harness between particulate filter differential pressure sensor. Healing Condition Rectify the error Clear through diagnostic tool. Ignition OFF & ON Component Details: Particulate filter, differential pressure sensor is mainly used to monitor the soot loading of a particulate filter on a diesel engine or gas turbine. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned in above Table. If yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence. 2. Check whether other customers report similar complaints earlier. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to earlier issue closure. 3. Check for Damage in EMS ECU connector / Particulate filter differential pressure sensor. 4. Check for any back out of pins at EMS ECU connector / particulate filter differential pressure sensor. 5. Check for any damage of pins at EMS ECU connector / Particulate filter differential pressure sensor.
