B1019 – 11:- Control signal for Crank Relay Output – Short to Ground Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B1018 - 11 Customer Symptom 1. In OFF no LED, In ACC Amber color LED ON & In IGN color LED ON w.r.t power modes. 2. Vehicle will not crank. 3. In IGN, clutch pedal is pressed, clutch telltale will turn OFF and if release telltale will turn ON. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Power mode will change between OFF, ACC & IGN. 2. Vehicle will not crank. Lamp Status (If Any) N.A. Fault Detection Condition 1. Permanent short circuit to ground of control signal to crank relay output. 2. Wire cut & shorting to ground of Connector-3 / Pin-17 signal. 3. Bending of pin-17 of connector-3 and shorting to adjacent pin. Normal Operating Condition 1. Vehicle battery voltage shall be normal. 2. No fault on control signal to crank relay output should be present. Probable Trouble Area 1. Permanent short circuit to ground of control signal to crank relay output. 2. Wire cut & shorting to ground of Connector-3 / Pin-17 signal with vehicle body. 3. Bending of pin-17 of connector-3 and shorting to ground pin. Healing Condition 1. After fixing short to ground fault on control signal to crank relay output, vehicle will crank normally. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending or damage.
