B1319 – 15:- Co-Driver Door Handle Switch – Short to Battery or Open Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B1319 - 15 Customer Symptom Passive vehicle locking or unlocking from co-driver door side does not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Passive vehicle locking or unlocking from co-driver door side does not work. Lamp Status (If Any) N.A. Fault Detection Condition 1. Permanent short circuit to battery/open of Co- Driver door handle switch. 2. Wire cut & shorting to battery/open of Connector-1 / Pin14 signal. 3. Bending of pins-14 of connector-1 and shorting to each adjacent pin. Normal Operating Condition 1. Vehicle battery voltage shall be normal. 2. Co-Driver door handle switch shall not be pressed continuously for more than 20 sec. 3. All doors should be closed and vehicle should be in unlock condition. 4. Valid paired UID should be present in co-driver door side and Co-driver DHS should be pressed. Probable Trouble Area 1. Permanent short circuit to battery/Open of Co-Driver door handle switch. 2. Wire cut & shorting to battery/open of Connector-1 / Pin14 signal with vehicle body or together. 3. Bending of pins-14 of connector-1 and shorting to each adjacent pin. Healing Condition 1. After fixing short to battery/open fault on co-driver door handle switch, passive vehicle locking should be performed from driver DHS or trunk DHS. 2. This is need for co-driver door handle switch to restore normal functioning. 3. Finally check passive vehicle locking/unlocking from codriver DHS.
