P2626-13:O2 sensor circuit: Lambda sensor wire diagnosis open load at pin APE, sensor 1 bank 1 Overview: DTC Description (User Friendly) O2 sensor circuit: Lambda sensor wire diagnosis open load at pin APE, sensor 1 bank 1 ECU Pin Number llCustomer Symptom MIL ON, CEL OFF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) - Lamp Status (If Any) MIL ON. MIL Turns Off as and when fault condition is not present / healed. Fault Detection Condition (Root cause) If pin no A104 of sensor is open circuit. Normal Operating Condition Proper wire harness connection between EMS ECU and lambda sensor. Probable Trouble Area Wiring harness connections between lambda sensor and EMS ECU. Healing Condition Rectify the error Clear through diagnostic tool. Ignition OFF & ON Component Details: The O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust manifold to monitor how much unburned oxygen is in the exhaust as the exhaust exits the engine. Monitoring oxygen levels in the exhaust is a way of gauging the fuel mixture. It monitors fuel mixture is burning rich (less oxygen) or lean (more oxygen). Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned in above Table. If yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence. 2. Check whether other customers report similar complaints earlier. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to earlier issue closure. 3. Check for Damage in EMS ECU connector / Lambda sensor. 4. Check for any back out of pins at EMS ECU connector / Lambda sensor. 5. Check for any damage of pins at EMS ECU connector / Lambda sensor.
