START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification. Is DTCB1326 – 12 logged by Routine? Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and Express Down switch connector for terminal blackout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged. Is connector faulty? Check continuity between BCMconnector pin Harness side with battery Continuity Found? 1. Remove Express Down switch connector 2. Check continuity between BCMharness side connector pin and Express down output signal STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCM Sidewiring harness (Short to Battery) NO YES B1326 - 12: Express Down Output - Circuit short to Battery or Open Circuit Open Circuit? Perform the visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged Is connector faulty? Check continuity at Express down output signal with ground Continuity found?
