Trouble Shooting:- B161A – 23: Internal Unlock switch – Signal Stuck Low START Connect Diagnostic tool and check for DTCs Is DTC B161A-23 present? STOP NO Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic Is History? 1. Press the Internal Unlock switch and release it. 2. Clear DTC Is DTC B161A23 present? YES NO YES NO Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and Internal Unlock switch connectors for terminal back out. Are connectors loose? Reconnect connectors firmly YES 1.Remove BCM side wiring harness Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged etc. NO YES A B C C
