B1F04 – 11 : Front Courtesy Light – Short to Ground Start Connect the Diagnostic Tool and check for DTCs Is DTC B1F04 – 11 present? STOP NO Check DTC present is Current or history YES History? 1. Clear the DTC from memory. 2. Turn the IGN to OFF. 3. Start the IGN. 4. Check for DTC. YES Is DTC B1F04 – 11 present? C Check BCM and Front Courtesy Light connectors for terminal backout NO C Are connectors loose? Reconnect connectors firmly B 1. Remove BCM side wiring harness connector. 2. Perform visual check of connectors for pins bend or damaged etc. A NO YES YES NO Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines)
