B225B- 09: Master Light Switch Failure- Component Failures Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B225B- 09 Customer Symptom Some or all master light switch operations may fail Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Some or all master light switch operations may fail Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will logged with IGN ON/ ACC/ RUN and lamp request is given from master light switch. Normal Operating Condition IGN ON/ ACC/ RUN and No DTC logged. Lights activation on giving request through master light switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Harness issue. 3. Switch fault. 4. ECU fault. Healing Condition 1. Switch request after fault removal 2. Clear DTC command- No DTC logged Component Details: BCM drives the park lamps, headlamp output, etc. based on the master light switch input. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
