B1F07 - 15: Illumination Dimming Level PWM Output - circuit short to battery or open ISO Code (DTC Code) B1F07 - 15 Customer Symptom Cockpit illumination permanently ON with100% illumination or doesn’t illuminate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Cannot change the cockpit illumination level settings. Lamp Status (If Any) Cockpit illumination LEDs may extinguish suddenly and permanently Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged with IGN ON and position lamp is ON. Normal Operating Condition IGN ON and No DTC logged. Cockpit illumination level changed from cockpit illumination rotary switch. Probable Trouble Area BCM connector Fault. Cockpit illumination output is Short to battery or open. ECU fault. If all cockpit illumination LED become open (damaged). Cockpit LED/ Bulb is faulty/ blow off. Healing Condition Run the input switch test routine and read the DTC. The DTC B1F07-15 shall not be logged. Component Details: BCM changes the cockpit illumination level setting through PWM output and output is STB or Open for DTC B1F07 - 15. Preliminary Checks: Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
