Wiper & Washer (WW) DTCs B220C - 11: Front Washer Switch - Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B220C - 11 Customer Symptom Front washer ON for washer act time. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Front washer On continuously 2. Front wiper as washer functionality shall occur Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If short to ground fault is detected for Front wash switch then this DTC will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Cockpit wiring harness short to ground 3. Front switch damaged or stuck 4. Combi switch connector fault. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Front washer switch is part of combination stalk switch and interfaced to the BCM. If the IGN is on and if user put the combi switch to Front Washer position, Front washer pump will turn ON. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
