U100F - 12: Ignition Power mode Input - Circuit Short to Battery Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) U100F - 12 Customer Symptom Active power mode may operate when in Accessory or battery-only power mode Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Active power mode may operate when in Accessory or battery-only power mode 2. Battery Drain Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If short to battery fault is detected for ignition power mode input switch then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong 2. Cockpit wiring harness short to battery 3. switch damaged 4. Ignition switch failure Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Ignition power mode input switch is part of Ignition switch and interfaced to the BCM. If the Ignition power mode input switch is activated and all functionality will work properly and if user put the ignition switch to ignition power mode input position, all functionality will work. Ignition power mode input switch is active high. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
