Check whether the Rotary Drive Mode switch contacts are stuck in closed condition. Rectify/Replace the Switch. Go to Step 2. 2. Fault to be logged for Drive Mode Function when: ModeSelectionSwStateStatusNew ==2 (Implausible). Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic. Go to Step 3. 3. Check whether the Drive Mode rotary switch is physically Damaged. Rectify/Replace the Switch. Go to step 4. 4. Check whether the EMS ecu pin 34 is short circuited to Ground/BATT. Rectify the wiring harness connections as per the schematic. Go to Step 5. 5. If fault still persists. Replace economy mode switch. IF fault still persists then Call hot line Confirm the above procedure for fault Rectification.. DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): 1. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also. 2. If error present, then rectify the errors. 3. Confirm that there is no error logged in EMS before handing over vehicle to customer.
