B2211 - 12: Front Wiper Intermittent Switch - Circuit short to Battery or Open Circuit Overview: ISO Code B2211 - 12 Customer Symptom Front wiper always OFF(Intermittent Mode) Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Front wiper always OFF(Intermittent mode) Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If short to battery or open circuit fault is detected for front wiper intermittent switch then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Cockpit harness Short to battery or open circuit 3. Switch damaged or stuck 4. Combi switch connector fault. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Front wiper intermittent switch is part of combination stalk switch and interfaced to the BCM. If the IGN is if user put the combi switch to front wiper intermittent position, front wiper will turn ON in Intermittent Mode. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2.
