START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification. Is DTC B1301 – 12 logged by Routine? Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and Driver door switch connectors for terminal backout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged. Is connector faulty? Check continuity between BCM connector pin [ C1-1] Harness side) with battery [C3-2/C3-1] Continuity Found? 1. Remove Driver door switch 2. Check continuity between BCM harness side connector pin [ C1-1] and Driver door switch [C101-1] STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCM Side wiring harness (Short to Battery) NO YES B1301 - 12: Driver Door Ajar Switch - Circuit short to Battery or Open Circuit Open Circuit? Perform the visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged Is connector faulty? Check continuity at Driver door switch [C101-1] with ground [C1-34/C1-47] Continuity found?
