P1567-24: When Cruise Active, Cruise + Switch / button is pressed for pro-longed acceleration (Greater than Calibrate-able threshold (Def. 10 Sec)) Overview: DTC Description (User Friendly) When Cruise Active, Cruise + Switch / button is pressed for pro-longed acceleration (Greater than Calibrate-able threshold (Def. 10 Sec)) ECU Pin Number K029 – Input analog signal to EMS K033 – Ground signal to cruise button from EMS ECU Customer Symptom MIL OFF, CEL OFF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) - Lamp Status (If Any) - Fault Detection Condition (Root cause) If press cruise + switch for pro longed acceleration (greater then threshold148). The fault is set if any shut off selected by 536870912 is set. Normal Operating Condition Proper wire harness connection between Cruise Cncl button and EMS ECU. Probable Trouble Area Wire harness connection between Cruise Cncl button and EMS ECU. Healing Condition Rectify the error Clear through diagnostic tool. Ignition OFF & ON Component Details: Cruise control is a system that automatically controls the speed of a motor vehicle. The system is a servomechanism that takes over the throttle of the car to maintain a steady speed as set by the driver. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the customer voice / view about the issue is matching with the fault effects mentioned in above Table. If yes, go ahead with next steps. If not, check for other DTC’s presence. 2. Check whether other customers report similar complaints earlier. If yes, perform the preliminary checks with respect to earlier issue closure. 3. Check for wire harness connection between EMS and Cruise Cncl button. 4. Check for any back out of pins at EMS ECU connector. 5. Check for any damage of pins at EMS ECU connector.
