1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 127 9. Spread the liquid red sealant on crankcase without spilling the sealant in oil paths / inside the block. 10. Insert the hollow dowels (8 no.s) into the crankcase. 11. Assemble the lower bearing shell to the bedplate. (Apply the coat of engine oil.) 12. Assemble the bed plate by tightening the mounting bolts. Sequence for tightening bolts to be followed as mentioned below a) Assemble block bedplate in given sequence 30% of the final torque and angle (15Nm +40°) then loosen all bolts. b) Assemble block bedplate in given sequence 30% of the final torque and angle (35Nm +85°) then loosen all bolts. c) Assemble block bedplate in given sequence 30% of the final torque and angle (50Nm ± 5 Nm with 120° ± 15°) then loosen all bolts. d) Alternately all the machine screw to be tightened simultaneously.
