Remove the rear end bearing using tool no. 2834 5890 26 01 PULLER FOR REMOVAL OF FRONT BRG.FROM INPUT SHAFT. B. INSPECTION 1. Clean all components thoroughly, inspect them for any abnormality (like chipped gear teeth, etc.) and replace with new ones as necessary. 2. Place the synchro cone on the corresponding gear and check the gap using a feeler gauge. 4.If the gap is not within the permissible limits then first try replacing the synchro cone andmeasure again. 5. If the gap is still not within the limits replace the gear wheel andmeasure with the old synchro cone. 6. If the gap is still not within the limits replace both the cone and the wheel after ensuring that the gap is within the limits.
