FUEL SYSTEM 3 1.5 FUEL TANK UNIT REMOVAL AND REFIT- MENT LOCATION: The fuel tank unit (Fuel Module) is mounted on fuel tank. It can be accessed from cut out provided be- low co-driver seat on body floor after removing plastic cover. The fuel module consists of following three subas- semblies. 1) Fuel pump with in built Pressure Regulator 2) Fuel Level Sensor Assembly 3) Roll Over Valve 1 Remove plastic cover fitted on BIW fuel pump inspection cutout. 2 Remove fuel supply line; return line and vapor line connections from fuel module. 3 Remove the fuel pump electrical connection. 4 Unscrew six hexagonal nuts provided on feed module lock ring. 5 Remove fuel module lock ring. 6 Tilt the fuel module unit while pulling out so that fuel lever sensor assembly can slide through the gap.
