ENGINE DTC DESCRIPTION CAUSE DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( MIL ) DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( CEL ) Gil When Driven In CNG PROBABLE TROUBLE AREA 1) When misfire percentage is more than a calibrated OBD emission threshold ON Blinking OFF Special Case 2)When the misfire percentage is more than the catalyst damaging index ON Blinking OFF Special Case P0324 Knock sensor signal error signal error OFF ON ON 1) Loose /Damaged connector. 2) Knock sensor positive/ negative line Short to Battery/ Ground. 3) Check the continuity from knock sensor connector pins to the ECU pins (ECU pin 237 – Knock sensor pin1 and ECU Pin 238 – Knock sensor pin 2). 4) Check for back out of pins at both knock sensor connector and ECU connector. 5) Faulty sensor. 6) Faulty ECU P0327 Knock sensor negative line short to ground Short Circuit to Ground OFF ON ON P0327 Knock sensor positive line short to ground Short Circuit to Ground OFF ON ON P0328 Knock sensor negative line short to Battery Short Circuit to Battery OFF ON ON P0328 Knock sensor positive line short to Battery Short Circuit to Battery OFF ON ON P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor Error Signal out of range OFF ON ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins (ECU pin 201-Sensor pin 1;ECU pin 213-Sensor Pin 2). 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Damaged Flywheel Gears/ TARGET WHEEL. 8) MISALIGNMENT/ Increased Air gap OF THE SENSOR. 9) Faulty CKP Sensor. 10) Faulty ECU
