ENGINE DTC DESCRIPTION CAUSE DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( MIL ) DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( CEL ) Gil When Driven In CNG PROBABLE TROUBLE AREA P0112 Intake Air Temperature Sensor short to ground Short Circuit to Ground OFF ON ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins.( ECU pin 103-Sensor pin 1; ECU pin 227-Sensor Pin 2; ECU pin 125- Sensor pin 3 ECU pin 112- Sensor Pin 4). 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty TMAP Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor Open/Short to battery Open/short to battery OFF ON ON P0116 Coolant Temperature sensor signal Non Plausible NPL/ Non Plausible Error ON OFF ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/ Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins.( ECU pin 215-Sensor pin 1; ECU pin 205- Sensor pin 2). 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty ECT Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU P0117 Engine Coolant Temperature sensor short to ground Short Circuit to Ground ON OFF ON P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Open/Short to battery Open/short to battery ON OFF ON P0122 Throttle Position Sensor Open/short to ground Open/ short to ground ON OFF ON 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins.( ECU pin 203-Sensor pin 1; ECU pin 223- Sensor Pin 2; ECU pin 207 – Sensor pin 3). 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty TPS Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU. P0123 Throttle Position Sensor short to battery / sensor supply Short Circuit to Battery ON OFF ON
