ENGINE DTC DESCRIPTION CAUSE DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( MIL ) DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( CEL ) Gil When Driven In CNG PROBABLE TROUBLE AREA P0053 Upstream Oxygen Sensor Heater Resistance too high. Resistance too high OFF ON .ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 4) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 5) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. ( ECU pin 155- Sensor Pin 1; ECU pin 246- Sensor Pin 2; ECU Pin 204- Sensor Pin 3; ECU pin 230- Sensor pin 4) 7) Faulty HO2S Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU P0054 Downstream Oxygen Sensor Heater Resistance too high. Resistance too high OFF ON ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 4) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 5) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. (ECU pin 155- Sensor Pin 1; ECU pin 239- Sensor Pin 2; ECU Pin 206-Sensor Pin 3; ECU pin 202- Sensor pin 4) 7) Faulty HO2S Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU P0087 Rail pressure low (Minimum Threshold) System Pressure Too Low OFF ON OFF 1) Check defective or Faulty Pressure Regulator. 2) Check hose connection from Pressure regulator to Rail. 3) Due to Internal leakage of PR Valve P0088 Rail pressure Exceeds (Maximum Threshold System Pressure Too High OFF ON OFF P0106 Manifold Pressure sensor signal Non Plausible NPL / Non Plausible Error ON OFF ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins.(ECU pin 103-Sensor pin 1; ECU pin 227-Sensor Pin 2; ECU pin 125- Sensor pin 3 ECU pin 112- Sensor Pin 4). 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty TMAP Sensor. 8) Faulty ECU P0107 Manifold Pressure sensor short to ground or signal error Short Circuit to Ground/No signal detected ON OFF ON P0108 Manifold Pressure sensor short to battery/ Sensor Supply.
