ELECTRICALS 202 Sr. No. Displayed DTC Code DTC Description Fault cause Probable trouble Area 15 P0106 - 85 Manifold pressure sensor signal Non plausible exceeding max limit Signal above allowable range 1) Loose/ damaged connections or intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line short circuit to battery/ ground. 3) Sensor signal line short circuit to battery/ sensor supply/ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. 5) Check for back out of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty MAP sensor. 8) Faulty ECU. 16 P0106 - 84 Manifold pressure sensor signal Non Plausible going below min limit Signal below allowable range 1) Loose/ damaged connections or intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line short circuit to battery/ ground. 3) Sensor signal line short circuit to battery/ sensor supply/ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. 5) Check for back out of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty TMAP sensor. 8) Faulty ECU. 17 P2103 - 12 Throttle actuator control motor circuit high - circuit short to ground Circuit Short to Ground 1) Need to check if any obstruction for actuating throttle valve. 2) Check if the wiring connections are proper for the ETC. 3) If signals are fine at breakout box end, then need to check with harness line or else fault ETC. 4) Faulty ECU. 18 P2102 - 11 Throttle actuator control motor circuit low - circuit short to battery Circuit Short to Battery 1) Need to check if any obstruction for actuating throttle valve. 2) Check if the wiring connections are proper for the ETC. 3) If signals are fine at breakout box end, then need to check with harness line or else fault ETC. 4) Faulty ECU.
