TRANSAXLE TA6300 34 B. LAY SHAFT DISASSEMBLY: 1. Hold in bench voice and remove locking screw of lay shaft. 2. Install support plate 5438 5890 2602. 3. Place lay shaft assembly on hydraulic press with support plate & press lay shaft as shown. Hold lay shaft from bottom. 4. Take out 6 th , 5 th , 4 th ,3 rd & 2 nd gear, needle cage & support plate separated from lay shaft from press 5. Take out twin cone assembly 1 st /2 nd . 6. Remove snap ring & take out engaging gear.
