CLUTCH 27 5. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder from the clutch pedal as shown. 6. Turn the CMC 45º in clockwise direction and remove it from the bayonet adapter slots. NOTE Be careful not to damage the master cylinder body. Check for rust and scoring of clutch hose. FITMENT For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal . NOTE Ensure that a click sound is heard for proper fitment of hose at CMC end. No crack, breakage after turning CMC – LPP transition area. Make sure CMC is completely mounted in anticlockwise direction by checking locked (or) not. After installation of clutch master cylinder bleed the system. (For procedure refer clutch bleeding from this section) CONCENTRIC SLAVE CYLINDER REMOVAL 1. Disconnect battery connection. 2. Remove the splash guard and drain the clutch fluid from the hydraulic adapter. (For procedure refer clutch fluid draining procedure in this section.) 3. Pull out the clip using a screw driver and disconnect the high pressure line. 4. Lower the gearbox from the vehicle. (For procedure refer gearbox removal in Gearbox section.) 5. Pull out the clip using a screw driver and disconnect the hydraulic adapter from the concentric slave cylinder (CSC) by pulling it out. WARNING Small quantity of fluid will be present in the concentric salve cylinder and hydraulic adapter; therefore care should be taken that fluid does not fall in the housing. 6. Loosen and remove concentric slave cylinder (CSC) mounting bolts from the clutch housing. CAUTION Plug the opening with suitable cap to avoid entrance of any contaminations and dirt in the concentric slave cylinder. Flush the connecting parts/hose with clean clutch fluid before assembly to prevent contamination of the new cylinder. INSPECTION Check the concentric slave cylinder for any fluid leakage.
