Automated Manual Transmission 49 10. Remove the O-ring from the 1st and 2nd gear selection solenoid valve seat. 11. Remove the oil filter. 12. Proceed in the same way to remove the 5th/R selection solenoid valve. Gear Selection Solenoids Fitment: 1. Place the oil filter back in its housing. 2. Fit a new O-ring in the 1st and 2nd gear selection solenoid valve seat. 3. Place the 1st and 2nd gear selection sole- noid valve (1a) in its seat complete with new O-rings (1b) and tighten the screws (1c) to the prescribed torque. Component Fixing value (Nm) Gear selection solenoid valves Screw 3 – 4.2 4. Fit hydraulic speed selection hydraulic ac- tuator unit and clutch 5. Fit wiring for manual gearbox hydraulic selection system on hydraulic selection unit 6. Fit protection/guard under engine. 7. Refill the electro-hydraulic selection gear- box hydraulic control system, with reference to 8. Check level of hydraulic system fluid for gearbox with hydraulic selection and top up, if necessary. 9. Fit battery support/drip tray. 10. Fit battery. 11. Connect the diagnosis equipment and carry out the following operations:  Bleed air of hydraulic system for gearbox with hydraulic selection  Clutch self-calibration enablement.  Grid self tuning - service.  New actuators (only if the hydraulic actu- ation unit is being replaced).  Remove the car from the lift.
