GEAR BOX 59 16.Slide the speedo drive gear over the main shaft. (For 4X2 Version only) 16a. Slide the spacer (1) over the main shaft and lock the same by putting the external circlip (2). (For 4X4Version only) 17.Fit the new gasket in between the mating sur- face of rear cover and rear half housing at the time of assembly. 18.Place the shifter heads on their respective shifter shaft and press the spiral pins (6X24). 19.Locate and tighten the plug which is at the bot- tom side of rear cover assembly. (For 4X2 Version only) 20.Apply adhesive gasket eliminator over rear cover face and fit it over the housing. Tighten the hex- agonal flanged nuts evenly. (For 4X2 only)
