GEAR BOX 15  Then prepare the assembly of engaging gear & shifter sleeve and place it over the outer synchro cone. a. 1 st /2 nd speed gear. b. Inner synchro cone. c. Intermediate cone. d. Outer synchro cone. e. Shifter Sleeve with Engaging gear assembly. 2. 3 rd /4 th GEAR SYNCHRO CONE This synchro cone is smaller in diameter . 3. 5 th /REVERSE GEAR SYNCHRO CONE This synchro cone is bigger in diameter and having bigger dog teeth. SHIFTER SLEEVES There are three types of shifter sleeves. 1. 1 st /2 nd SHIFTER SLEEVE This shifter sleeve has two grooves on its outer di- ameter and a single groove in the slot. NOTE  This shifter sleeve is similar to the 5 th / Reverse shifter sleeve but one can identify it by noticing the distance between two grooves on the outer diameter.  1 st /2 nd shifter sleeve has greater distance be- tween grooves as compare to 5 th /reverse shifter sleeve.
