HVAC 56 I. TXV (THERMAL EVAPORATION VALVE) The TXV for HVAC is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. REMOVAL OF TXV 1. Discharge the refrigerant using standard recover- ing equipment. 2. Loosen and remove bolts and disconnect the inlet and outlet lines that is high pressure line and low pressure line. 3. Loosen and remove the Allen screws of size- 4mm and remove the TXV from the HVAC unit. REAR AC SYSTEM TXV 1. Remove the rear quarter trim. 2. Disconnect the TXV connections. 3. Loosen and remove the Allen screws of size-4 and remove the TXV from the HVAC unit. 4. Loosen and remove the Allen screws of size-4 mm and remove the TXV from the HVAC unit. (Similar to Front TXV) J. PRESSURE SWITCH 1. Discharge the refrigerant using standard recover- ing equipment. 2. Remove wiper arms & wiper motor. (Refer elec- trical section) . 3. Remove leaf screen (Refer body section) . 4. Remove plenum (Refer body section) . 5. Disconnect electrical connector. 6. Loosen & remove pressure switch. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
