HVAC 23 CAUTION The point indicated above is the location of the sens- ing bulb and not the point where clip has to be inserted. Any minor change in position of the evapo- rator can lead to malfunctioning of the HVAC system. PIN OUT NOTE  Refer front HVAC overhauling for removal and installation process.  Only front HVAC is fitted with thermister, rear HVAC is not fitted with thermister. INSPECTION 1. Dip the sensor in ice water and measure the resistance with a digital multimeter. 2. Then pour hot water into it and check for change in resistance between pin 1 and pin 2 of the thermister. 3. The resistance should decrease as per the above graph and table. CAUTION When checking the resistance the temperature should not exceed the range of -40 0 Cto 85 0 C.
