BODY 39 IX. DOOR LATCH REAR: REMOVAL: SR. NO. DESCRIPTION 1 Inner handle (Rear Door) 2 Pop knob upper 3 Cable pop knob lower to latch 4 Cable inner handle to latch 5 Link between outer handle to latch 6 Outer door handle bracket 7 Latch 1. Remove the door trim. (For procedure refer door trim removal procedure.) 2. Remove rear door outer handle. (For procedure refer outer door lock (Rear) removal process.) 3. Disconnect electrical connector at the latch end. 4. Push the pop knob to downward position so as to have in lock position to have better access to remove the links. 5. Disconnect the inner handle cable from the inner door handle and bracket. 6. Disconnect pop knob lower cable from the bracket. 7. Disconnect outer handle link from the handle end.
