SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) 19 ON VEHICLE SERVICE REMOVAL 1. Remove the battery connection. 2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the front impact sensor. 3. Loosen and remove the mounting flange bolt and take out the front impact sensor from the vehicle. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.  SIDE IMPACT SENSOR (SIS) These sensors are positioned on the bottom side of “B Pillar” on both sides of the vehicle. SIS sense the structural deformation which is caused by side im- pact (Side Collision) which then sends signal to SRS ECU. This helps in activating the side airbags to cushion the occupants from severe injuries LOCATION Side impact sensors are mounted on both sides at the bottom of the “B Pillar” CONNECTOR PINOUT PIN NO.
