ELECTRICAL 328 01. BATTERY MOUNTED FUSE BOX ( BDU ): This fuse box is directly mounted on battery positive terminal. Bus-bar type construction is used. Advantages of using Separate Battery Fuses  Splits the load from other equipment  Reduce the number of cables  Reduces the number of Splices  Reduces the risk of Thermal Incidents  Reduces the cost and complexity of other components e.g. if the starter circuit has a failure only the starter will be not operating – not full vehicle failure It consists of Powerval, megaval & minival fuses.
