ELECTRICAL 209 3.4 REAR WIPER CONTROL. 3.4.1 Description Rear Windshield provides vehicle user with Rear visibility directly or through inside rear view mirror. Rain and dirt on the rear windshield quickly turn the rear window into a risk on visibility and safety. Rear wiper is needed to have a clear view outside at back of the vehicle. 3.4.2 Conditional Requirements Activation – • IGN is ON & • Rear Wiper is activated or • If front wiper is ON & reverse gear is engaged. Deactivation – • IGN is OFF or • Rear Wiper is deactivated or • If front wiper is OFF & reverse gear is disengaged. On Fault – Rear wiper does not work and the respective DTC is logged. 3.4.3 Operating Voltage Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Rear Wiper Control. Normal operating voltage range 9V-16V 3.4.4 Operating Temperature Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Rear Wiper Control.
