ELECTRICAL 206 3.2 FRONT WIPER INTERMITTENT/ AUTO WIPE. 3.2.1 Description Front wiper shall be switched ON by the BCM only when the IGN is ON. In normal mode, Vehicle driver selects low, high or intermittent mode from combi switch, depending on rain intensity. When rain is not enough to keep the windshield glass wet, the driver has the option to select intermittent wipe operat ion. The intermittent operation can be done when wiper is in intermittent mode and shall have the five positions, each vary with the parking delay time. 3.2.2 Conditional Requirements Activation – • IGN is ON & • Front Wiper Intermittent switch is activated (in case of Non-RLS variant) • Front Wiper AUTO switch is activated, if RLS is present in vehicle and Low/High wiping request received from RLS on LIN. Deactivation – • IGN is OFF or • Front Wiper Intermittent switch is deactivated (in case of Non-RLS variant) • Front Wiper AUTO switch is activated, if RLS is present in vehicle and no wiping request received from RLS on LIN. or • AUTO switch is de-activated On Fault – Respective DTC logged. 3.2.3 Operating Voltage Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Front Wiper Intermittent. Normal operating voltage range 9V-16V 3.2.4 Operating Temperature Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Front Wiper Intermittent. Operating temperature range -30  c to +85  c Storage temperature range: -40  c to +105  c
