ELECTRICAL 90 8.8.6 REAR WIPER MOTOR LOCATION: It is fitted on tail gate. REMOVAL: 1. Remove the wiper arm and blade assembly ( Refer procedure given in the wiper arm and blade section ) 2. Take out the cap from the wiper shaft and remove the one mounting nut, pull out washers. ( Cup washer-steel and rubber washer ) 3. Remove tail gate trim lower. ( For procedure refer body section ) 4. Disconnect the electrical connection of rear wiper motor. 5. Remove three mounting bolts and take out rear wiper motor along with washers. ( Steel washer and rubber washer-inner ). REFITMENT: 1. First insert steel washer and next insert rubber washer (inner ) on wiper motor shaft. 2. locate the wiper motor assembly in the tail gate and fit three mounting bolts and tight with specified torque. Tightening torque for bolts – 1Kgfm 3. Insert rubber washer first and next insert cup washer and tight the mounting nut. Tightening torque for bolts – 1Kgfm 4. Insert the cover over the mounting nut and put the arm and blade assembly on wiper motor shaft in unlock condition. 5. Place arm and blade assembly on parking position so as to get lock it with wiper motor shaft. 6. Fit one mounting nut and tight with specified torque. Tightening torque for bolts – 1Kgfm 7. Connect the electrical connection to the wiper motor. 8. Fit the rear tail gate lower trim. ( For procedure refer body section ) ! CAUTION: While fitment of rear wiper motor first insert steel washer and insert rubber washer (inner) on wiper motor shaft and locate the wiper motor on its location and fit three mounting bolts. After this insert the rubber washer (outer) then insert cup washer on the wiper motor shaft and fit one mounting nut.
