19. TCU (TRANSMISSION CONTROL UNIT)
REMOVAL
1) TCU is fitted in front of co-driver; below glow
box.
2) Remove the carpet.
3) Remove the M6 Nut (3nos) fitted on Stud for
removing the TCU bracket.
4) Remove the bolts from TCU bracket, and
remove the TCU.
5) Disconnect the cable from the TCU by pressing
the button & slide the lever.
REFITMENT
For refitment follow the reversal of removal process.
ROUTINE PROCEDURE FOR AT TCU
REPLACEMENT OR AFTER TCU SOFTWARE
UPDATION
1. Replace the new AT TCU (Transmission
Control Unit)
2. Ignition ON, Engine Running, Brake press and
no Accelerater pedal
3. Move lever to Neutral N and keep Lever on
Neutral for 3 sec.
4. Move lever from N to D and keep at D for 3 sec.
5. Repeat 3 and 4 steps for 4 times.
6. Move Lever to N & keep Lever on Neutral for 3
sec.
7. Move lever from Neutral to Reverse and keep
at Reverse for 3 sec.
8. Repeat 6 and 7 for 4 times.
