14. ASSEMBLY GEARSHIFT CONTROL CABLE
1. Install gear selector and shifter cable mountings
on Body.
Perform neutral setting for gear shifter cable as
follows
2. Before fitment of ball joint end of shift cable,
Ensure all other fitment of cable and shifter is
done properly.
3. Ensure Gear shifter select lever is in “N” mode
(Neutral Mode). Ensure locking pin is pressed in
N mode.
4. Assemble the shifter side cable conduit end
fitting in U slot of gear shifter housing.
5. Assemble the transaxle side cable conduit end
fitting (press fit) in cable anchoring bracket.
6. Snap fit the cable end on cylindrical pin of select
lever of gear shifter assembly.
