CAUTION
Please replace the new locking pin, the locking
pin bending or do not role of guide, during the
adjustment operation. Never reuse spring
washer and nut.
NOTE
Use locking pin when you align inhibitor switch
and manual control lever.
E. INSTALL OIL-SEAL
1. Install the Oil-seal (A, B) used by installer jig.
NOTE
Apply ATF to ‘Oil-seal’ part before installation
REMOVAL
Removal is the reverse of installation
F. ENG + TM DOCKING PROCESS FOR TML
1. Check the condition of the packed Auto-
Transmission T/C strap fixing status.
2. The T/C fixing strap must be disassembled after
the A/T docking palette is seated
If you disassemble the T/C fixing strap first and
move the A/T, it is very easy that the T/C will
protrude from the specified position.
3. Align the Torque-converter to match the hole
between flex-plate and Torque-Converter lug
hole.
NOTE:
Start the bolting of flex plate from Slot hole on Flex
plate. And Tight all bolts on Flex plate
