Customer Symptom

NA

Fault Effect (On Vehicle)

DCDC Converter is not charging LV battery. Vehicle stops when LV

battery is completely drained

Lamp Status (If Any)

NA

DTC Detection Condition

This DTC gets logged if value of temperature is lower than -40° C

Normal Operating Condition

If the temperature goes above -40 ° C

.

Probable Trouble Area

1. Low ambient temperature

2. DCDC internal sensor failure

3. Low coolant inlet temperature

Healing Condition

Ignition OFF wait till VCU sleeps & Ignition ON

Write up for

the system:-

HV DCDC Converter converts DC high voltage to low voltage to charge 12V battery. The conversion starts with wakeup and

enable signal to DCDC converter from VCU.

Pre-Check Points:-

a) Check the coolant level

b) Check the coolant system proper connection and make sure there is no leakage

c)

Check for the LV connector pins damage
