4. Place the caliper in a firm condition.

5. To remove the Piston caliper, Apply air through

the inlet port.

NOTE:

when apply air the piston moves out of the

pot/cylinder, have a suitable stopper to avoid

piston fall off, exercise more care, ensure there is

no scratch, dent, damage and a spiral mark in the

cylinder bore diameter while removing

6. Carefully remove the boot piston from the

caliper groove, ensure no dust and no damage

in the boot groove while removing.

NOTE:

Do not use any metal part with sharp edge to

remove the boot piston and ensure dust

prevention in the cylinder after removing.

7. Carefully remove the seal from the caliper

pot/cylinder groove, use proper tool.

NOTE:

Do not use any metal part with sharp edge,

ensure no cut mark, scratch in the seal groove,

and ensure no damage in the seal groove. Drain

the excess oils from the calliper and clean the

calliper thoroughly only with isopropyl alcohol

ASSEMBLY OF CALIPER

1. Insert seal into groove by rolling the index

finger over the seal

NOTE:

When assembling the seal, ensure in the cylinder

groove is free from damage, the bore is smeared

with oil. Apply (smear) enough grease to the seal

before assembly, inspect the seal for no cut, tear

damage and splashes, and after assembly ensure

the seal has been seated well in the groove by

rolling the index finger over the seal.

2. Insert boot piston into boot groove by rolling

the index finger over the boot seating area.
