DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To disassemble, push/press the cable end
fittings with finger.
2. Final disassembled condition.
WARNING:
Pulling the cable end fitting without unlocking the
locking bush would bend the rod and damage the
cable assembly.
14. REMOVAL OF GEAR SHIFTER
HOUSING, GEAR SHIFTER AND
SELECTOR CABLE:
1. Ensure the gear lever in neutral condition.
2. Remove Lever knob, washer, cap screw and
base plate. (Refer body section).
3. Remove the central floor console. (Refer body
section).
4. Pry out both the cable lock plates and remove
the cables from assembly gearshift housing.
5. Unscrew the four bolts of gear shifter lever
housing to remove it.
6. Pry out the shifter selector cable ends from
the transaxle housing.
