5. INSTRUCTION FOR WORKING ON HV

COMPONENTS ON VEHICLE:

6. Turn off the vehicle Ignition.

7. Open the bonnet of the vehicle.

8. Remove Aux Battery negative terminal and Put

masking tape on Aux Battery negative terminal

& cable.

9. Lift vehicle on two post and apply parking

brake.

10. Loosen and remove the mounting screw and

take out battery connection cover.

11. Remove high voltage battery MSD.

NOTE

Clean the MSD and lever mechanism in case of

dirt deposition/accumulation with a wet cloth, then

access the lever. Otherwise the jammed lever

mechanism can break during unlocking.

12. Wait for 10 Min after removing MSD from

vehicle for working on vehicle.

Removal of HV Battery MSD and Lockout

tagout of vehicle is recommended

The removal of HV Battery pack MSD (Manual

Service Disconnect) and Lockout-tagout procedure

must be followed in/during the below mentioned

conditions,

Visible damage is observed in the high

voltage system and components due to

accidents, abuse etc.

Service and maintenance of high voltage

system and components.

High voltage system and components:

PDU, OBC, DCDC, E Drive, Battery Pack, PTC

Heater, Compressor and HV Harnesses.
