4. Compress the coil spring with spring
compression tool part No. 2702 5890 3202 to
reduce length as done during disassembly.
5. Insert the compressed spring on the strut
(ensure that the spring end is located at Lug
in spring seat lower).
6. Pull the strut piston rod up to full-extended
length.
7. Insert the bump stopper on damper.
8. Insert the top rubber spring seat on the top of
the spring.
9. Assemble bearing on the top of the rubber
seat of spring.
10. Assemble top mount on the bearing.(ensure
top mount orientation in such a way that the
bearing lug should be inserted in the top
mount locating hole and also aligned top
mount with brake hose bracket lug).
11. Fit Hex nut (1 in fig) and tighten to 67-74 Nm
torque. Hold the piston rod by Allen key (A/F:
6 mm) to stop piston rod rotation during
tightening of nut.
