9. TRANSAXLE DISASSEMBLY ON BENCH
1. Release the retention tabs from the Concentric
Slave Cylinder (CSC).
2. Remove the CSC bolts.
3. Disconnect the clutch tube union at the case.
Release the retention clip then separate the
clutch tube union.
4. Disconnect the hydraulic fitting from the plastic
retainer.
5. Remove the CSC.
6. Remove the mainshaft oil seal plate.
7. Remove the gear selector assembly bolts.
8. Use a plastic hammer or the equivalent to
loosen the assembly and remove from the case.
9. Remove the reverse idler gear assembly
retaining bolt.
