23. POWER WINDOW SWITCHES & INHIBIT
SWITCH
Window winding switches are for to move the
window glasses Up & Down.
Driver door window winding switch includes all
door power window switches & inhibit switch (child
safety).
Inhibit Switch - Red indication on inhibit switch
indicates that operation of glass from individual
power window switch (mounted on respective
door trim) is allowed (valid for co- river and both
rear doors)
No indication on inhibit switch indicates that
operation of glass from individual switch (mounted
on respective door trims) is inhibited.
Auto down feature is only for Driver door window
& it is time based.
LOCATION:
Window winding switches are provided on RH
side front door. Separate individual switch is
provided on front door LH & rear RH / LH doors.
Four Door Power Window Switch
Two Door Power Window Switch
Single Door Power Window Switch
The switch will function when ignition key is turned
to
‟ON‟ position.
For taking window glass “UP”, Pull the knob. And
for window glass “Down”, Push the knob .
Do not press switch further when window glass is
at its extreme position.
Do not operate window glass frequently,
otherwise Window winding motor may get over
heated and stop working till it cools down
