7.2 STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the connection of battery.
2. Remove the dashboard bottom cover (
Refer
body section
).
3. Remove steering wheel (
Refer Steering wheel
removal procedure).
4. Remove 2 number of screws of nacelle bottom
cover & take out the nacelle bottom cover.
5. Remove combination switch.
(Refer Electrical
section.)
6. Disconnect the electrical connection of EPAS
ECU.
7. Hold the Steering column with the hook (5123
5890 2403) to avoid to fall down & damage of
steering column & injury to operator.
8. Remove the 2 mounting Hex flange screws.
9. Remove Steering Column Pivot mounting bolt.
